Zindagi Gulzar Hai is a 2012–13 Pakistani Urdu-language romance and social drama serial based on the novel of the same name by Umera Ahmad. It is one of the most popular Pakistani television series and was broadcast on Hum TV from 30 November 2012 to May 2013. The drama revolves around two people, Kashaf Murtaza and Zaroon Junaid, who have very different personalities, opinions, and financial backgrounds.
Kashaf comes from a middle-class family and lives with her mother Rafia and her two sisters, Sidra and Shehnila. Rafia separated from her husband, Murtaza, because she did not give birth to a son. He later married another woman, who eventually gave birth to his son Hamad. The story explores relationships, family values, social expectations, financial differences, and the changing perspectives of its central characters.
However, Zindagi Gulzar Hai is more than a simple romance. The drama touches on serious social issues and challenges traditional expectations while presenting the emotional journey of Kashaf and Zaroon. Its strong characters, meaningful storytelling, and realistic portrayal of relationships have made it a memorable Pakistani drama.
